How can we bridge the gap between Large Language Models (LLMs) and the Semantic Web’s original vision of intelligent agents? While LLMs demonstrate remarkable capabilities, they lack the reliability, interpretability, and efficiency of traditional semantic technologies.

The SemGenAge workshop concentrates on technologies and applications that unite the advantages of both worlds. Join interdisciplinary researchers from AI, Semantic Web, Computational Social Sciences, and beyond at ESWC 2025 in Portorož, Slovenia (June 1-2, 2025) to discuss LLM-based simulation approaches, and more. The proposed workshop is explicitly open to exchanging ideas from a very diverse set of perspectives and formats.!
